Bangladesh Delegation visit to discuss developments and application of Geo-ICT services for agriculture and water management

Wednesday November 11th 2021 – A high delegation from Bangladesh visited Nelen & Schuurmans to be informed about new developments in the field of Geo-ICT services for agriculture and water management. The delegation was led by Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Muhammad Addus Razzaque and the Ambassador of Bangladesh, M. Riaz Hamidullah, and also consisted of 20 representatives from agricultural companies, governments and (inter)national NGOs. In an animated meeting, practical applications were demonstrated of innovative IT services that use satellite data, geodata and advanced model systems to optimize agricultural production and improve water management. A great step towards an even better cooperation with Bangladeshi companies and governments.
